Should I worry about webcam(s) in my cabin rental?

I just rented a cabin for a week, and was wondering how the absentee owner kept from worrying about guests, cleanup crews, thieves, floods, fire, and anything else that could go wrong at his property.

It finally occurred to me that the place could be wired; after all, Wi-Fi is one of its listed features.

So, should I worry about being spied on? Do other people worry about this; am I being overly paranoid? What steps could I take to assure my privacy? Are there any anti-bug measures I could take? I guess what I'm asking is...is there an inexpensive device I could use to ';sweep'; the cabin?

If you've had any experience with monitoring devices, where should I look for one? Also, how paranoid should I be about this? grrr...

I think you are overly concerned. If you are that paranoid, you can just unplug the internet connection from the router or turn off the modem.

Here is a link to some bug sweeping devices

You are very paranoid! Chill! If you feel that way, then have sex in front of the camera and sue them for keeping pornography of you without their consent.
