Cheaper cabin rental packages in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, TN???

My wife and I are looking for a pet-friendly cabin in the TN mountains for a five or six night stay - but all the packages I've seen thus far are still pretty expensive! I've heard co-workers talk about getting VERY GOOD rates (in the neighborhood of $700 for five nights, even) - where can I find good rates like these??????Cheaper cabin rental packages in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, TN???
Try Priceline.com

Name your own price. Its fun and it works for me.

If you plan on traveling a lot or your young and just starting to travel consider joining RCI. We saved big $$$ over the last 20 years.Cheaper cabin rental packages in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, TN???
The prices are dependant on the amenities, age of the cabin, age of the furnishings, rooms, etc. Our cabin at www.thistlebritches.com is a pet friendly luxury cabin with 2 bedrooms, great mountain view, secluded, and convenient to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. However, our rates avg $190/n to $245/n. You can check out vrbo.com, homeaway.com for listings by owner for a mixture of rates and quality.
I've checked some of the cabin rental companies in the Gatlinburg/ PF area. Some have pet-friendly cabins for rent, some don't. Try checking these sites:

You can reserve pet-friendly cabins on-line, but just remember, none of these are cheap! You %26lt;might%26gt; get lower nightly rates further away from the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg (there are rental cabins near Douglas Lake on the west side of Sevierville), but then you would be further away from the mountains.
