I have stayed at the cabin in Chain-O-Lakes State Park and they are very nice, with a wonderful screened porch and in the middle of the woods.

For a few years in a row, me and my family have stayed at the Potawatomi Inn cabins, in the potawatomi state park near the michigan/indianna state line. google Brown county Indiana, it is not far from Bloomington Indiana, they have a tremendous amount of cabins there to rent, and the people in the area are great. It is a artsy kind of community, not far from the Indiana University campus, beautiful in the fall
There are nice cabins available for rent in Derby, IN along the Ohio river. We stayed there a few years ago, but it was a gift so I don't know the details as far as cost, etc.
