Do not want a ';vacation'; style place. I'd prefer a mom-and-pop place to stay in a location close to hiking/biking trails. Any ideas?Looking for a rustic cabin rental under $150/night in denver area.?
Clear Creek County is only 45 minutes from Denver on I-70, and has several cabins available. From Idaho Springs you can climb Mt Evans or hike on several beautiful trails including Echo Lake, Chicago Lake and Hell's Hole.

There are dozens of hiking %26amp; biking trails within easy driving distance. Just a few of my favorites include St. Mary's Glacier, Herman Gulch, and the climb up Torry's and Gray's Peaks.Looking for a rustic cabin rental under $150/night in denver area.?
Hi there. The first place I'd check would be Owner Direct Vacation Rentals. You never know what you'll find there... usually they have a great selection of places to stay. I've been using them whenever I travel, for about 5years now, and have never had anything go wrong.
Here's their page with vacation rentals in Colorado: http://www.ownerdirect.com/accommodation鈥?/a> . Hopefully you can find what you're looking for!
Have a great trip!
You should start your search in boulder as its next to the mountains, and it's more of a ';quaint'; city that would have to these types of lodgings. I don't know any specifically, but boulder is about 45 minutes north of Denver.
